SERIES FFL FIBERGLASS FIXED BLADE LOUVER DUCT MOUNT NOVEMBER, 1997

The Fiberglass Fixed Blade Louver, Duct Mount shall be manufactured by Hartzell Fan, Inc. Standard sizes are, minimum 12" wide x 12" high, maximum single panel is 72" wide x 72" high, larger sizes are fabricated in multiple panels, with reinforcement.

The louvers shall be constructed of pultruded, fiberglass reinforced, polyester components. Pultrusion shall include multi-directional fiberglass material The resin shall have a Class I flame spread rate of 25 or less. The resin has Tinuvin added to protect all surfaces from ultraviolet exposures.

All components are bonded together with an industrial grade, epoxy adhesive, having corrosion resistant properties similar to the fiberglass resin.

The maximum recommended free area inlet velocity is 825 FPM.

Louver performance shall be based on tests conducted in Hartzell's AMCA accredited test laboratory, in accordance with AMCA Test Code 500, Test Methods for Louvers, Dampers, and Shutters.
